The successful candidate will have a significant role in breast cancer care and will join a dynamic team of medical and clinical oncologists. This position also provides the opportunity to contribute to clinical trials through our well-established oncology research department. Key Responsibilities: Attend Consultant-led outpatient clinics (both at the Centre and Peripheral Clinics), including associated administrative tasks and chemotherapy prescribing. Supervise SHOs and ward patients. Review patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy, as required by nursing or radiography staff. Teach SHOs and medical students. Participate in clinical governance and audit activities. Consultant Oncologist – GU/Uro Focus Northern Ireland – Long-Term Contract We are currently seeking a highly skilled Consultant Oncologist with a focus on GU (Genitourinary) / Uro-oncology to join a leading Trust in Northern Ireland. They are looking for a Speciality Doctor working at ST5+ to support the Community Paediatric Department. The post is permanent for 0.8 WTE, with no on-call commitments. The post will involve managing a caseload of new and follow-up Community Paediatric patients, with opportunities for multi-agency working to support the needs of individual children and their families. The post-holder may also have the opportunity to conduct Autism Assessments in conjunction with Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapists and Autism Care Co-ordinators. There will be opportunities for the successful applicant to develop a special interest in the area of Community Paediatrics. This service is in a bursting with life & culture.
