About the Role

I am partnered with a General District NHS trust situated in Buckinghamshire.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Locum Consultant Medical Oncologist to join the Trust, providing oncology services to patients within the Trust.

This is a fixed-term Locum Consultant position for 12 months.

The post holder will undertake one AOS consultant ward round per week. The post holder will specialise in breast and LGI malignancies. Each 3-hour clinic has 1 new and 6 follow up patients. The post holder is likely to see 150-180 new patients per annum. There will be support available from consultant colleagues, clinical nurse specialists, acute oncology nurses, cancer pharmacists, and clinical trial nurses.

The Trust has the world renowned National Spinal Injuries Centre and the regional centres for burns care, plastic surgery, stroke, cardiac services, and dermatology, as well as national recognition for urology and skin cancer services. Fixed Term Consultant Medical Oncologist - Urology

£105,504 to £139,882 a year 10 sessions plus on call
I am partnered with a General District NHS trust situated in Lincolnshire seeking a Fixed Term Consultant Medical Oncologist - Urology. This is a 10.76 PA (inc on call) Consultant Medical Oncology appointment for the Trust.  It is a replacement post that is based at the Hospital, with one day devoted to a clinic at Boston. The successful applicant will be expected to provide service for urology cancer patients.  Any applicant who is unable for personal reasons to work full time will be eligible to be considered for the post. If such a person is appointed, modification of the content will be discussed on a personal basis with the Trust in consultation with consultant colleagues. The Appointee will be expected, in conjunction with his / her colleagues, to provide a comprehensive service for oncology management to the Hospitals, particularly for urological tumours, attending the MDTs. There is support for systemic therapy from a consultant Medical Oncologist.  In addition, he/she will be required to:  • Undertake such other duties as may be identified to meet the needs of the service  • Take part in a consultant rota for emergency duties and to provide, on a reciprocal basis, emergency cover for colleagues during periods of absence  • Carry out teaching duties as required and take an active part in the Postgraduate Medical Education program and in the teaching of junior medical staff. To be involved in the education of nursing staff, General Practitioners, and other clinical professionals. I am partnered with an Acute NHS trust situated in Devon seeking a Locum Consultant Clinical Oncologist – Breast / Colorectal. The Trust is an Integrated Care Organisation providing acute health care. The hospital is a medium-sized, progressive, and innovative District General Hospital providing acute services to Devon with a 10-bedded Critical Care Unit, six general theatres, three orthopaedic theatres, and a day surgery unit. They provide services in most specialties within the local area. We have around 500,000 face-to-face contacts with patients in their homes and communities each year and see over 78,000 people in our A&E department annually. We serve a resident population of approximately 375,000 people, plus about 100,000 visitors at any one time during the summer holiday season Main duties of the job • Take ownership of and deliver their own site-specific workload. • Contribute to the medical leadership, management, and innovation within Oncology services. • Offer support and training to all non-consultant grade doctors within the unit. • Promote inter-disciplinary working in the department and across the hospital. • To ensure that current standards and evidence-based practice are applied. • Participate in clinical audit programs, including both departmental and multidisciplinary audits. • Contribute to research and innovative practice within oncology. Locum Consultant General Paediatrician

West Midlands
£105,504 to £139,882 a year per annum
I am partnered with a university NHS trust situated in West Midlands seeking a Locum Consultant General Paediatrician. The Trust provides regional facilities for the whole of the local with a population of approximately 1 million. The Trust is one of the largest Trusts in the UK and is committed to the development of a high quality paediatric service. This is an extremely well equipped 1200 bed teaching hospital, containing all medical and surgical specialities and is a designated adult major trauma centre including a helicopter emergency service. The successful candidate will join a forward-thinking and dynamic team of fourteen paediatricians. The department has a designated Children's Emergency Department which sees over 35,000 attendances per year, 3 inpatient paediatric wards with over 4,500 admissions per year, a level 2 paediatric intensive care unit with 8 beds, a medical day unit facility and designated outpatient departments at both sites. The out patient departments deliver over 12,000 appointments. The successful postholder will work on the general paediatric service and on-call rotas and do one general and one allergy clinic weekly.
