About the Role

Kaizen Recruitment are working with a Private Mental Health Organisation in Staffordshire looking for a Substantive Consultant in CAMHS Eating Disorders Psychiatry.

This role is 37.5 hours per week & requires participation in the second tier Consultant on-call rota.

This opportunity is for a Child and Adolescent Consultant Psychiatrist to join and established team caring for young people aged 12-18. This is a service that is committed to helping every person they support feel safe, happy & empowered, enabling them to live the best life possible.

Health & Care Visa Sponsorship is available for this role. 

You will need:
  • GMC Specialist Registration with a Licence to Practice (Essential) either by CCT or CESR. Applicants due to gain Specialist Registration within 6 months are welcome to apply for this post.
  • Section 12 Approval (Essential)
  • Approved Clinician (AC) Status (Essential)
  • MRCPsych or Equivalent
  • Working within an inpatient CAMHS Eating Disorder service.

Consultant in Adult Psychiatry

This role is full time.   This post is for 15 patients in a male non-secure acute ward. You will be the Responsible Clinician for the patients on the ward. This opportunity is for an Adult Consultant Psychiatrist to join and established team caring for male patients over the age of 18 in a non-secure acute ward. This is a purpose-built hospital & you will have support of a non-consultant doctor as well as secretarial support. You will need: GMC Specialist Registration with a Licence to Practice (Essential) either by CCT or CESR. This opportunity is for a Child and Adolescent Consultant Psychiatrist to join and established team caring for young people aged 12-18. This is a service that is committed to helping every person they support feel safe, happy & empowered, enabling them to live the best life possible. You will have Full-Time junior doctor support. You will need: GMC Specialist Registration with a Licence to Practice (Essential) either by CCT or CESR. Applicants due to gain Specialist Registration within 6 months are welcome to apply for this post. Section 12 Approval (Essential) Approved Clinician (AC) Status (Essential) MRCPsych or Equivalent Working within an inpatient CAMHS Eating Disorder service. Specialty Doctor in Addictions Psychiatry

Kaizen Recruitment are proud to be working with a Private Substance Misuse Charity looking for a Specialty Doctor in Addictions Psychiatry for their service in Merseyside. Are you looking for a role within a supportive organisation that care about the outcomes of their service users?  Then this maybe the role for you. Doctors I have previously placed with this organisation have supported & progressed from Clinical Fellow up to Clinical Lead. About the role: Provide assessments including relevant psychiatric & physical investigations of a wide range of substance misusers presenting to the service. Liaise closely with other relevant professionals & organisations, including non-statutory addiction services, adult psychiatry services, social services & many more. Initiate appropriate prescribing regimes to clients in line with national legislation/guidance and provide specialist prescribing assessments to opiate, stimulant, tranquilizer, barbiturate, alcohol dependent clients Conduct phlebotomy tests if required and support nursing team in ensuring that the maximum number of service users are tested for BBVs and vaccinated against Hepatitis A and B You will need: GMC Registration with a license to practice Experience in delivering evidence-based treatments in Substance Misuse Patients Good knowledge of addictions psychiatry and legislation relating to mental health Knowledge of the issues facing substance misusers including appropriate medical interventions, social care and health issues UK Psychiatry experience is preferred but not essential A town in the Merseyside region, with good transport links into a big city.
