Interventional Consultant

South Yorkshire£105,504 - £139,882
I am recruiting for an interventional Consultant for a Teaching Hospital based in Yorkshire on a NHS fixed term contract. We would welcome applications from candidates across the full spectrum of experience, from those who have recently completed training to those who have well-established careers. The appointees will, together with Consultant colleagues be responsible for the provision of vascular interventional radiological services to enable the trust to fulfil its service agreements with its commissioners. Vascular radiologists do not undertake general radiology reporting and involvement in non-vascular interventional procedures is based on matching clinical applications to the team's specific range of expertise. Located on rolling hills and dissected by river valleys, the hospital is based in one of the greenest and most wooded cities in Europe. More than the city lies inside the beautiful Peak District National Park, and it is virtually surrounded by open countryside. Its central location and excellent transport links also means it is less than two hours from most major metropolitan areas. The Trust is one of the UK's busiest and most successful NHS foundation trusts. This is an exceptional opportunity to join an award winning and internationally recognised team, with focus on innovation, research and high-quality care, as well as family friendly working, and we are keen to discuss with individuals about how we can support their ambitions. If you are interested to find out more about this role please let me know and I will send you a full job description. Should you wish to refer a colleague we can pay £1,000 for successful referrals.
