Diabetes and Endocrinology Consultant

I am currently working alongside a trust in East Sussex who are seeking Diabetes and Endocrinology Consultant to join their expanding department on a fixed term or substantive basis. The duties of this post will include supporting primary care to manage the large majority of diabetic patients not requiring specialist care. This will involve liaising with GP's, taking part in education programmes for practice staff, responding to email requests from GP's for clinical advice and working closely with community-based specialist nurses to manage caseload About the area:  The area has some fantastic schools, excellent transport links and great value housing. We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled NHS Consultant Dermatologist to join the best performing dermatology service in Greater Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic, well-established department within a forward-thinking Trust.   As a consultant in our dermatology department, you will provide care for both adult and paediatric patients, alongside an experienced and dedicated team of professionals. Our department delivers care to around 550 patients per week, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained. We are currently implementing a teledermatology service in collaboration with our medical illustration department and have plans for advice and guidance services and biologics services. Our service is located in the heart of the hospital, in a dedicated department with seven clinic rooms, two theatres, and a phototherapy unit. We run a variety of clinics led by both consultants and specialist nurses.   Key Responsibilities: Provide continuing responsibility for the care of patients and the proper functioning of your clinical department. Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative, patient-centered working practices. Supervise and manage junior medical staff. Participate in teaching, examinations, and accreditation duties as required. Contribute to post-graduate and continuing medical education activities locally, regionally, and nationally. I am working with University Hospital is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Clinical Oncology Consultant with a focus on Breast and Urological cancers on an NHS fixed term contract. This exciting opportunity involves providing exceptional care for patients within the University trust and across the wider region, with a chance to join a dynamic and supportive team. Key Responsibilities: Breast and Urology Cancer Care: Attend and contribute to the weekly UHS Breast MDT and Urology MDT meetings. Plan and supervise radiotherapy and Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) for Breast and Urology cancer patients. Conduct and supervise on-treatment review clinics. Engage in Radiotherapy Peer Review meetings. Participate actively in clinical trials management, recruitment, and execution. Oligometastatic SABR Service: A unique opportunity to join the emerging oligometastatic SABR (Stereotactic Ablative Body Radiotherapy) service, providing cutting-edge care for patients with limited metastatic disease. Acute Oncology Service: Provide clinical oncology input to the UHS inpatient Clinical Oncology and Acute Oncology services, managing emergency admissions with oncological symptoms and diagnoses. Offer advice and support to the management of patients admitted through the Acute Oncology service. Participate in post-take ward rounds and manage patients admitted via the Acute Oncology service. Provide advice and manage emergency radiotherapy patients. Participate in the on-call rota for out-of-hours Clinical Oncology patient care, including evening and weekend ward rounds (1:16). This is a fixed-term Locum Consultant position for 12 months. The post holder will undertake one AOS consultant ward round per week. The post holder will specialise in breast and LGI malignancies. Each 3-hour clinic has 1 new and 6 follow up patients. The post holder is likely to see 150-180 new patients per annum. Fixed Term Consultant Medical Oncologist - Urology

I am partnered with a General District NHS trust situated in Lincolnshire seeking a Fixed Term Consultant Medical Oncologist - Urology. This is a 10.76 PA (inc on call) Consultant Medical Oncology appointment for the Trust.  It is a replacement post that is based at the Hospital, with one day devoted to a clinic at Boston. The successful applicant will be expected to provide service for urology cancer patients.  Any applicant who is unable for personal reasons to work full time will be eligible to be considered for the post. If such a person is appointed, modification of the content will be discussed on a personal basis with the Trust in consultation with consultant colleagues. The Appointee will be expected, in conjunction with his / her colleagues, to provide a comprehensive service for oncology management to the Hospitals, particularly for urological tumours, attending the MDTs. There is support for systemic therapy from a consultant Medical Oncologist.  In addition, he/she will be required to:  • Undertake such other duties as may be identified to meet the needs of the service  • Take part in a consultant rota for emergency duties and to provide, on a reciprocal basis, emergency cover for colleagues during periods of absence  • Carry out teaching duties as required and take an active part in the Postgraduate Medical Education program and in the teaching of junior medical staff. To be involved in the education of nursing staff, General Practitioners, and other clinical professionals.
